A deeply restorative Turkish bath ritual inspired by the ceremonial purity and quiet dignity of Ottoman queens. This full-body thermal experience is designed to purify the skin, stimulate circulation, and promote sensory stillness.
The treatment begins with 10 minutes of gentle perspiration beside the heated marble basin (kurna) in the halvet. This preparatory stage allows the pores to open, softens the skin, and initiates a calm in both body and breath through exposure to warm steam.
This is followed by a 40-minute traditional hammam session, starting with a full-body exfoliation using a single-use kese mitt. Performed with precision beside the kurna, this vigorous scrub removes dead skin cells, activates microcirculation, and encourages cellular turnover. The treatment includes a focused hand and foot exfoliation to soothe fatigue and restore softness where it’s most needed.
As you lie on the heated Göbektaşı platform, the therapist applies a rich aromatic foam massage, using gentle, sweeping motions to relieve muscular fatigue and promote lymphatic drainage. This stage harmonises the body’s temperature with the marble's radiant heat, creating a state of physical and mental equilibrium.
The ritual continues with a traditional hair wash, performed beside the kurna using pure olive oil soap sourced from Cunda Island. These chemical-free blends, derived from the groves of the Aegean, deeply nourish the scalp and support natural shine and softness.
The experience concludes in the serene Camekanlık lounge, where you are served herbal tea, dried fruits, detox water, and a refreshing cold towel. This restful pause, ideally lasting 10 minutes or more, gives the body time to absorb the care it received and return to a state of calm.

The Valide Sultan Hammam is a longer and more detailed experience. In addition to the full-body kese scrub and aromatic foam massage, it includes a focused hand and foot peeling and a traditional hair wash using organic olive oil soap. The ritual is designed for guests who seek a deeper level of purification and care.
Absolutely. This ritual is well-suited for both experienced guests and those new to hammam culture. Every step is guided by our expert therapists and delivered in a calm, respectful environment designed for comfort and ease.
You’re welcome to bring your own bikini or swim shorts, but if needed, we provide high-quality single-use swimwear. Towels, slippers, kese mitts, olive oil soap, and all other essentials are also included. A private dressing room with amenities is available for your comfort.
The experience lasts approximately 60 minutes, including 10 minutes of gentle warming in the halvet and 40 minutes of hammam care. After your treatment, we invite you to spend at least 10 minutes in the Camekanlık lounge for rest and rehydration.
